The Product and Services list below shows a mix of innovative solutions and open source software we use, or have used, or we have implemented for a Client.  Some are "free" (look to the right).  Some not.  Generally you will find that where they publisher say's "free" they mean it - look for their licensing terms on their site.

These could be really useful just as they are and have lots of great features that could possibly fit your business.  But if you want to get more functionality you can always upgrade (if available).  You will, more than likely, have to pay for this.

Just to let you know, each one has been, is, or will be put to good use by us one way or another and we run our business successfully on most.  We've put in a lot of hard work, hours and technical resource to evaluate and prove if they do what they say do and, we're happy to share these with you.

IP PBX

3CX Phone System for Windows is a software-based IP PBX that replaces traditional proprietary hardware PBX / PABX.  3CX’s IP PBX has been developed specifically for Microsoft Windows and is based on the SIP standard – making it easier to manage and allowing you to use any SIP phone (software or hardware).  uniCenta has installed 3CX's IP PBX and have sipgate (see below) hooked into it providing a truly astounding system.

Have just noticed Posterita POS is no longer free though the open source version is still available. Posterita POS is a full web delivered SaaS (Software as a Service) POS solution for multi-site Point of Sale.  It is aimed at the retail, supermarket and franchise industries.  It's definitely a "one to watch" - as things start to move to Cloud computing model.

Website and online Office Applications

Microsoft Office Live - an internet service compatible with PCs and Macs which provides a free site, hosting and software for smaller businesses enabling them to create a web showcase that looks and functions professionally.  We use Microsoft's Office Live extensively, in fact the web site you're looking at right now is hosted here.

sipgate is a free Internet telephone service provider and is like a fixed line with conversations in great quality.  Get a "Real" UK phone number, anywhere across the UK - make and receive calls from every telephone in the world.  No need for a PC either, just use your normal phone.  We here at uniCenta use sipgate as our provider and have it hooked into our 3CX IP PBX.
