Yotel Case Study

Problem

50 sheets of concepts.  Ambitious.  Limited budget.  And less than 12 months to do it!

Reaction

Blimey!

This time the big question was; "Could we do it?" Yep. "Yes"

Solution

We were involved with everything highlighted in blue

This is it...:

The Yotel website has a bespoke, real-time online Reservations Booking Engine...
incorporating a PCI compliant Remote Payment provider...
integrated with the uniquely designed Check In/Check Out Kiosks...
across a High-speed Secure MPLS Network...
which connects directly to the Central PMS...
integrated with the Access Control System via the Check In/Out Kiosks...
that automatically produce the Guest Room Cards...
so Guests can access their cabins where they can enjoy the IP-TV...
and choose between terrestrial TV programmes...
and satellite programmes from around the world...
as well as choose a movie with Video On Demand and listen to digital quality Radio...
or surf the Internet right there on the TV in the cabin...
or connect to the Secure Wi-fi with their laptop...
and, amazingly Self-Order Point Of Sale food, drink and other product such as; a Travellers Kit from Muji, which room-service delivers right away...
or choose to Book it for later - even breakfast...
which immediately updates the integrated PMS keeping the Guest folio bang up-to-date...
so when settlement is made, via the Remote Payment provider, in the Central PMS then they can...
exit through the Access Control System glass security doors and...
when staff need to let HO know they've had a great day they call using the VoIP phone system...
which is directly connected to the High-speed Secure MPLS VPN...
that connects all Yotel's locations...

Nett result:

  • Delivered within tight budget and time constraints
